Portland has a rich theater arts scene, with big playhouses and off the grid companies that both share one thing in common: an ongoing dialogue with theater.

I'm a critic with Oregon ArtsWatch, a merry band of writers composed of many different voices founded by long standing Oregon arts critics. While some other publications follow a script, Oregon ArtsWatch allows critics to follow their instincts, knowledge and insights into a performance. I see plays from a broad spectrum of companies and players, while giving my best to the research and a give a critical, but supportive eye to the scene.

My latest reviews also appear on my blog.
